Another exciting London derby is still remaining this season as the Spurs will host East London’s West Ham United. This will be the third meeting of the season between the two clubs. Both of those matches were played in the London Stadium and Spurs ended up winning both of them. Spurs won against West Ham in the Premier League by 1-0 and knocked them out from the League Cup a few days later with a 3-1 win.
The last time the two clubs faced at Spurs’ home was in January 2018 and that match ended with a draw. This match is unexpected to end as a draw because Spurs are desperate for points as they are still in the fight to finish inside the top four. However, a London derby can get tricky and West Ham could also pull off an upset by getting the three points. West Ham started the season in the worst way possible but Pellegrini’s men have done extremely well since then. The match could easily have shocking results but Spurs are still predicted to win the derby.
Yarmolenko, Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez are not expected to play the match for West Ham. Spurs are expected to have Trippier fit by then, so they could have their full squad available for the match.
